Ahhhh fuck off, why would they need to re-record it?! The original is perfect! Has pointless movie remake culture bled into music now? Is this a metal specific thing or are their non metal artists doing it too?

Who buys this stuff though? Paradise Losts Icon re-recording sounded sterile and as if the band couldn't be arsed themselves. Can't imagine anyone thinking there's enjoyment to be had in it and shelling out for it.
