Not so much a misheard lyric as opposed to a "never copped what the fuck he was saying" but in Def Leppard - Rocket, I wad probably an adult by the time I realised he was singing "Satellite Of Love"

Even going to see them live, I was happy to sing "Rocket. Yeah. La na na na na"

In fairness Joe Elliott has a knack of being an English man, singing in English that is hard to understand most of the time.

A lad I used to live with had Paranoid on one day he starts singing the chorus "can you help me, thought you were my friend"?

We later fell out over some money he owes me. The signs were there!!
