Atmospheric Black Metal based on The Silmarillion mythos beautifully crafted and evocative of it's themes.

I really enjoyed this album, just has such a good flow and so well put together.   I might give it an 8.

Have that Aggressor Protector ordered as well.

As for my own listening I'm also on a bit of a thrash kick at the moment.

Forbidden - Forbidden Evil
Flotsam & Jetsam - Doomsday for the Deceiver

Haven't had food poisoning yet...or never had the vomiting and shitting at the same time...  but had to have a barium enema once...basically they pump your intestine full of stuff that shows up on an x-ray to check for cancer or anything else sinister.  So a day of laxatives before, a tube shoved in your hole and pumped full of chalky white stuff (there is a joke in there) and then a day of shitting out the stuff... fuck it was hell.

Live After Death is still the best thing they ever released.   Studio album, Powerslave today... tomorrow will be different.

Fear of the Dark has a decent opening, but after Wasting Love, it gets really inconsistent until the title track.

Couple of sobering days for Irish rugby, both Ulster and Leinster soundly beaten in their respective European finals.

I spent most of this morning weeding some flower beds and sorting the edging between them and the lawn.  The lawn might be full of weeds, moss and bare patches, but the edging looks great!

If I have headphones on, I don't want to talk to anyone.  Why can't other people understand that?  I can't actually hear what you are saying, I haven't responded to you, so why are you still trying to talk to me... I can't hear you, I haven't taken my headphones off, take the fucking hint!

Cashiers having a conversation with someone else when they are serving you gets on my nerves.

Also, if you say to someone more than once "I am waiting on another call" and they keep talking... I know mobiles have call waiting and can pop up the new call, but please take the fucking hint!

Jesus I am grumpy today!

My neighbour got someone with a lawnmower and a sprayer to tidy up their garden.   He was cutting the grass and spraying in the dark a few weeks ago.  Today I noticed an ivy that is growing over the fence between our gardens is dying off, no problem there, it is on their property... So they are in their back garden this afternoon, so I asked if they poisoned the ivy.  They said that he did... well the problem and pet peeve is the fucking idiot has over sprayed into my garden and there are a number of plants that live along that fence that are looking particularly unwell. Thankfully the plants aren't really that important, they are only in that part of the garden after been dug out of somewhere else and I had no where else to put them... but I am still not happy. They said they would speak to the person (I refuse to call them a gardener) and their faces dropped when I said I would be having a word with them as well.  f
