Totally agree on Hexxed - that was a great release. 

The three Irish bands I would return to the most are Primordial, Mourning Beloveth and Waylander. I'm sure Primordial and MB will get plenty of mentions but I still think Waylander - Reawakening Pride Once Lost is a great album. The second albums production makes it pretty much unlistenable to, but I liked next three and played the hell out of them when they were released, but haven't revisited in a while. 

That Worm session was ace. I've listened to the album a lot since it was released and definitely worth checking out.  Couple more sessions I noticed that I am going to check out, Khemmis and Monolord.   

The Night Eternal - Cold Velvet (aside from a short video on YouTube, not heard a single note of these guys before. Remind me a bit of In Solitude.  The vocals are seriously good).

Crazy, I was listening  to Grave the other day (Burial Ground) and checked the Archives to see when they last released an album....11 years! Couldn't believe that. Was gonna mention it here but I knew it would have been of case of 'Sure they've got nothing new to say anyway' . They were another band who featured regularly on the 2FM Metal show as far as I recall.

I would also have bet my house on them having released a new album in the last couple of years!

Been such a long time since I listened to Grave.  Thought I had more of their back catalogue in the collection but seemingly I don't... This is it.  I would have bet the house on owning their debut!

Have made the Ghost of Navigators by Iron Maiden randomly and regularly just pop in my head for the past couple of weeks.   Not the worst to be humming along to while having a poo or boiling the kettle. 

That didn't excite me at all.
