Kevin de Bruyne wins Premier League player of the season. He won ahead of Sadio Maine,Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson of Liverpool.Danny Ings Southampton,Vardy Leicester and Nick Pope of Burnley.Well deserved he is pure class.

I think it will have to be voided.Playing games behind closed doors won't matter, when you already have players and managers infected.

Atletico Madrid had a great win over Liverpool the other night.

They're the most cuntish team ever but they had a game plan and it worked. Karius II didn't help matters, of course.

And now the future of the league is in doubt. Talk about it being declared null and void, postponed, calling league positions as they currently stand. Mad stuff.

I live in Madrid and it's interesting how the outside world perceives football here. Real Madrid remind me of Kerry in the GAA, or at least their approach to football. Players are expected to want to die for the club and the boos come when the crowd feel like someone isn't shaking a leg. There is also an expectancy that you will push to the last moment, you don't give in etc. Lots of boggers and posh gits follow Real but it's not all negative. I worked in the area of the Bernebeu and from talking to people who work in the club I began to admire the way they think, Florentino Perez gets a lot of shit in the media but anyone who works there says he's a very decent guy. Of course there's the arrogance that comes off the club and the British/Irish media really have it in for La Liga and Spanish football in general, which, in my opinion, has a far higher skill and coaching level than most of what we're seeing in the Premiership.

The Premiership is only catching up in that regard by basically buying in all the talent from the likes of Spain and it's definitely had a very posiyive effect. Athleti should be the team I follow, but I found the whole 'modus operandi' of the club and supporters to be against what I look for in a team/club. It a kind of small man envy, they'd prefer to win dirty, get lads sent off, approach the game in a negative fashion instead of dying on their shields. I remember watching the Champs league final where they were winning until that last 30 seconds..if they had had guts they could have gone 2 up but Madrid just kept fighting and you had to admire it. That's why they're know as 'Patheti' here.
Do you think the appointment of Diego Simeone in 2011 was mainly responsible for the 'small man envy, preferring to win dirty, get lads sent off, negative approach' etc.
Or has that always been the Atleti 'modus operandi'.All I know is that they beat Liverpool both home and away in the last 16 of the Champions League.
They must have a little bit of class about em to do that.

I've fond memories of the SFX.Fear Factory,Sepultura,Paradise Lost,Slayer,Pantera,Meshuggah,Megadeth etc etc.My all time favourite gig ever, was AIC in the SFX.We used to bus up from Kerry. That took half the day.Find a hostel, then off to the Soundcellar to buy tapes/cds.I would spend ages looking through the display cabinets full of tapes.I was always nervous heading into gigs when I was younger. There was plenty of cunts frequenting shows that time.I particularly remember running the gauntlet of scalpers outside McGonagles on more then one occasion.Tivoli had great gigs around that time too.I only ever attended one gig at the Top Hat.Kreator/Death and Devastation.

The former Mayor of Limerick. Was just interviewed on Today FM.He reckons the gig should be banned due to Behemoth being a bunch of Satanist's🙄.

Over 70k is insane.Fair play to everyone that went.I had em doing 40/50k max :o.

What was the attendance like. From the bits and pieces I've seen online. It looked pretty packed.Kinda sorry I didn't go now.Ive not seen em in year's.
