Love Blut Aus Nord. It's not easily listening though so definitely not something i put on daily. He has two main modes of operation I think most would agree. There's the more traditional straight up melodic black metal, the Memoria Vetusta albums are like this. Then there is the twisted industrial dark stuff such as MoRT, Odinist and the 777 trilogy. Memoria Vetusta followed by 777 trilogy are all savage. Still listen to those ones. Haven't heard the new one so will pick that up soon. The one before was pure bleak industry and really not hugely memorable bar a couple parts.
The latest one is definitely easy listening

it is indeed. Spinning it a bit for the last week. Seems like a band oriented version of Memoria Vetusta II. Maybe they will do a few actual gigs at this juncture as the band seems to be in place for it.

Was at this in 2017. Going again this year with a few of us. The vip camping is the best option. Got that last time. Had no security issues at least anyway. The queues for the showers and state of the toilets wasn't great though!! Certainly a warm sleeping bag for night time and some earplugs too as some fuckers don't seem to sleep at all
The lineup is best I've seen it, not that I've checked prior to 2017.... seriously though beers for under €2, smokes for €2.50, good food and good weather. Really well organised too. Not much fucking around getting in or out and not much queuing due to the wristband payments. Bus straight to the airport afterwards also which is only €20. Highly recommended.

Good stuff!! can still hear the Gojira influence in there but not as prominent as the earlier material.

Hey Crumb I've actually got tickets! First time since 1997 that I've given Robb Flynn cash. I was too young to go to the sfx back in the day

 somewhat disappointing response...see you there so!!

Expecting a strong performance from cryptic stench on this.
Will probably just have a drunk wank in the jacks for the first part of this gig. Certainly want to hear burn my eyes with Chris Kontos though
