i kind of wish they'd changed their name early 2000s and left the classic Darkthrone legacy intact
i checked out after FOAD, though i'll still give new tracks a listen and get a laugh at the covers

was anyone at the Belfast gig? any good?

good wee band. been listening on and off since that first EP
this clip was probably the best thing they could have done, made them stick in everyones minds!

always loved this one. it was the image on my the back of my Emperor longsleeve, under the red pentagram. loved that shirt until it got mysteriously lost (think my ma took offence and binned it  )

not mad into them but i think this could be a good show

Belfast gig was Immense! place was heaving, probably close to a sold out show..?
stage looked great with the screens and lighting. interludes were good between albums eras, created a bit of atmosphere. band was great, guitarist was blazing through the material. crowd was well up for it. good to hear a bit of Chaos AD, nothing of BTR or Arise unfortunately.
anyway, one to remember that

have only seen them once in their 90s heyday. have been semi interested in seeing them again.
i think i was set to go to the 2017 gig but didn't bother in the end
Tuesday night for Belfast, hmmm will have to see if i can be a***d

great band, like most of their albums
new track sounds pretty good
look forward to the album see if it stands up

a band i've know about for forever but just never got into.
part of me thinks this will be a great gig whether you know the material or not...

can't beat all the early material, this will be a ripper
