The sponsorship thing was probably a timed thing on the profile so I wouldn't read too much into it, plus considering they way the lads left things, he obviously wanted to clear things with his family first before doing a memorial post.

Think the olive branch was always there but the business side of things had to get fixed first.

The next on the Halloween list. An absolute classic across the board. Kind of wish Bill Paxton had gotten his own spinoff movie playing Severen. It also tied in really well with my goth listening phase.

But on the plus side there's going to a a 4k restoration of the original next year. Same team that did The Hitcher which looks fucking incredible. 

Saw Digger tonight - new Tom Cruise film, went in with no prior knowledge, I thought it was brilliant but seems to be receiving a very mixed response, well worth watching.

I'd say the Ellison's are probably boosting the online rage towards it so they can have more to write off while merging Warners & Paramount.

Looking forward to it as I always enjoy when Cruise goes against type.

Certainly not what the OP had in mind here but I'd just like to nominate that Dez Fafara lad as the biggest spoofer in metal. If anyone doesn't know who im on about, id recommend you stay blissfully ignorant. A few interviews with him have popped up of late on YT and you'd swear he was one of the most influential figures in heavy music. Lad has no idea how utterly inconsequential his garbage bands have been in the overall scheme of things, but you wouldn't think so the way he bangs on about it. An absolute chancer.

As I am bored in work... There is a UK & French version of Metal on Metal listed on Discogs with a 1982 release date, so it would have been available to purchase over here.  According to Google AI... Kerrang gave it a glowing review and championed it (but I can't find were the AI program actually pulled this info from so no idea if it has just made up or not...).  Maybe not a bluffer but I was 4 in 1982 and more interested in Basil Brush and Metal Micky according to my parents.   

If it was Malcolm Dome that did the review for Kerrang he was probably their press guy hence the glowing review.

I'd say it's a mix of being sick of of Cowboy Dave booking tours constantly to pay for beard dye, his spinal issues and autistic burnout.

Pete does come across as a little odd and over sensitive but he got his Autism diagnosis a year or two ago and that can be a tough one to come to terms with at his age.


He's commented on Terrorizer now. Apparently he's not done with it but done with the Cowboy.

Current lineup was fucking weird. The three Maga lads performing World Downfall which is kinda left/Anarcho influenced .

Scott & Charlie have to be subconsciously still writing with Bush in mind.

There's some decent ideas and hooks on it for sure but nothing memorable. Better than Metallicas and Megadeths current albums but then again that wouldn't be hard at all.

Must have a look for Di'anno's book as it was total entertaining bullshit.

Googling (or using any other search engine) will only tell him that the video you claim to "unfortunately" have seen and want to deposit at RTÉ doesn't actually exist.
