Anyone know of repair places in Ireland for record players? Got a new record player last year because I started having issues with my old one but now I would like to see if I can get the old one fixed.

The only place I could find is the HiFi Hospital but it only opens 10am - 1pm Monday - Friday. They charge a €50 assessment fee and if they can't repair the player you don't get the €50 back so they can go and fuck. I think this may be the only place in Ireland which is why they can get away with taking money for nothing and the stupid opening hours.

There's a few sellers on adverts that seem to be repairing old Turntables/Hifis along with selling them too.
So no harm in doing the €1 offer to ask a question.

S3 is better than S2 but S1 had some incredible scenes which are lacking in this season.

Gareth Evans & Xavier Gens weren't involved so it fucked over the quality on 2 and 3.

Season 1 was a great hybrid of Hong Kong action with Michael Mann.
The Pub fight and farmhouse raid were outstanding sequences.

Working my way through The Pitt. It's excellent so far.

I saw Noah from ER was in it and thought, ugh, that's both cringe but a small chance it'll be good. But I haven't watched a medical drama since ER cause, seen it, better things to watch. But 8.9 on imdb. I'll give it a go. If George Clooney shows up I'm out.

It's the spiritual successor to it (with the Crichtons suing it!).
Since it's made for Max all of the schmaltzy soap opera stuff that ER had to have was dropped.

Looks like two different records alright, I had to check they were both the same side! I don't mind coloured vinyl if it reflects the cover art somewhat, that there is a bit random alright, looks more Neurosis than Deicide I'd still snap your hand of for it mind you 😎

The colour choices for OUTC and the repress of the debut really seem to be "what's left in the plant lads?"

The label that's putting them out don't really have a track record with metal either.

Just give everything on the Roadrunner back catalog to MOV. It'll be reasonably priced and sound deadly.

Watched Dragged Across Concrete. It was interesting enough to hold my attention for the quite long runtime. Interesting casting to have Mel Gibson playing someone who is a bit anti-woke and also subtly racist (and also pro-police brutality, though it did come out just before George Floyd was murdered). I think how much you identify with Mel Gibson's character would be an interesting litmus test for where you fall on the political spectrum 

It does get tagged with that due to Gibson and apparently one of the producers is some sort of neoconservative, but I think Zahler's just a dude that wants to bring back the meanness of 70s crime & westerns.

He does need to cut the running times down on his stuff though.

Cowboys From Hell. Bit of an eyeroll choice, and there are certainly other metal albums I like a little better, but guitar playing is very important to me and if I can only have one album it has to be the one with the guitar playing I like best.

I remember the rest of The Doors saying the film was total nonsense.

Yeah, lots of artistic license for the majority of it.

They enjoyed the royalties from the soundtrack though!
