Given this a few spins since it came out. I think it stands tall over Medusa. There's a bit of flab in the middle but its still well worth a listen. The goth influence is in a few tracks but I think they pull it off. Darker Thoughts and Ending Days were highlights for me!

Really digging this EP lads. Some great stuff in there, particularly call of the void. I'd certainly echo what others have said about a physical release, would love to see it on vinyl!

Looking forward to hearing more, this stuff is top shelf!

Caught them last year at Vienna metal meeting and they were great. Really atmospheric and they have a pretty unique show with the way they use lots of film playing over the music. Would love to see a Dublin date.

Unfortunately I never got to see them, really saddened by the news.  I've been revisiting the rush discography over the weekend. Peart's lyrics are such an important part of the emotional attachment Rush's music creates. Really introspective and honest stuff.

He was so good at striking a balance with his playing too. Incredibly technical playing but it was never ego flexing stuff, every part was so well written to compliment the song

Also as many have said, he seems to have been an absolute gent of a man. It's a real shame life was so unkind to him with the loss of his wife and daughter. There won't be another like him

The Odeon in Waterford is showing the Repentless thing tomorrow, looks like Limerick also. It's possibly on elsewhere with other cinema chains? They were truly shit at Bloodstock touring this but it's seldom you get to hear this kind of music through a cinema soundsystem so I'm tempted to head along.

Pretty sure Cineworld on Parnell street and Vue in Liffey valley are showing it cover the Dublin heads. Cant say I give a shite about seeing the three music videos from repentless but the live footage should make it worthwhile! They nailed it when they came to the 3arena, they're one of those bands that just don't really work outdoors in my eyes

I know that news site Overdrive.ie do them too, or at least have a contact who can make them to order. Know a couple of bands who have used them and they were happy with the quality but no idea on what the charge is

Enjoyed the last two minutes of the track, the rest didnt seem up to much, lacking those hooky melodies that they've gotten so good at. Hopefully the second song is stronger.

I always hear good things about Rega.

I have a Pro-Ject Debut III and it's great for the price. I've heard a few of the other models and they've always sounded decent so you might want to look at other Pro-Ject models as there's plenty of them well within your budget

One important thing to keep in mind is your actual setup. If you don't have an amp with a phono stage then you'll need to factor that into your decision!

+1 on the Pro-ject, I have the Pro-ject essential III at home and find it great!
