I've got 3 or 4 Unseen Chaos shirts and I've not had a problem with them at all. Think you got a bad batch man

Politics aside, Disturbed is woeful scutter. Politics included, what's worse than woeful scutter...

Zero chance I'm giving any money to that fuckin mallet

I've had the new Gloomy Reflections album on repeat all day today. New album from Will Fried. Sounds like Black Magick SS but even better. Absolute banger of an album

Wittling it down to 5 is just impossible... an attempt

Venom - Black Metal
Angel Witch - Angel Witch
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Celtic Frost - Morbid Tales
Motorhead - Overkill
and a shout to Don't Break the Oath

Wonder if there'd be any hope of getting Michael Monroe or Demon down to Dublin?

Way better than I was expecting them to be on the last show of the tour. Absolutely fuckin brilliant. Had kinda shitty seats so couldn't see the whole stage but they sounded fantastic. Killer setlist but agreed that they could have thrown in Problem Child or It's a Long Way to the Top instead of the extended solo
7
I like the first handful of albums. They're like a shittier Canadian Raven. Never seen them before so I'll probably pop along to this
8
Was glad to finally catch The Black Dahlia after missing them the last 2 and the cancelled COVID gig. Just unfortunate it was without Trevor. They sounded fantastic though.

Fuck me that opening band was woeful though
9
Court in the Act is NWOBHM gold. Then work your way through the reunion stuff from Life Sentence on, all great stuff

Quote from: Snare on June 15, 2024, 08:33:31 AMIs it me or tees for €30 these days is taking the piss a little? You'd imagine they'd shift more units and make greater profits if they sold for €25? They sell the same shirts online for €21 anyway.
It's getting a bit much alright. I got a Blind Guardian tour shirt from their site that was cheaper than at the gig, even with postage.

But I'm guessing bands have to do it to cover whatever cut the venue takes from merch, I've heard of some places taking up to 30% which is a fucking joke

The Academy are pretty notorious for taking huge cuts of merch as well. I remember Uncle Acid and Blood Ceremony sold shirts out the back of their van when they played here a couple years back

8 O clock Support and 9 O Clock Sepultura for the Dublin gig.

Fuckin hell that was something else. Necromancer and Escape to the Void were rattling the teeth in my skull. The lads were seriously on it tonight. Unreal gig

9.20 there for the Hells Heroes ramble. He really loves to talk. Class live though, definitely a good not to miss
13
He'll usually go on for 5-10 minutes a day about Doctor Who. Up in Derry at Frost and Fireland he had a good moan about how there was a woman doctor. The band really looked fed up of his shite

Saw them then over in the states at Hells Heroes last year and he was giving out to people crowd surfing and moshing
14
Wonder what the Brian Ross old man ramble will be this time...

The 1995 Promo is also quality.

The tracklist is Snowing Still (probably my favourite RC track), The Opposite Bank and One With the Forest
