This is the first gig(s) where I looked around and really noticed so many late teens / early 20s guys and girls having the time of their lives (which indicates I have began the crossing over the river styx). No setlist academia, debating the merits of playing X song before Y song, etc. Just some lads hearing "For Whom the Bell Tolls" for the first time and thinking "that's a bit class". You need that positivity in the world!!

Yeah I'd be cool with a Load/ReLoad tour. There's a savage album between the two of them and it's the last time they really seemed to put their heart into their music.

Missed Pantera by the time I'd gotten up to Dublin. I'd seen them when played 3 Arena and twas only alright so I wasn't bothered about missing them. I'd like to see Gojira though so I'll have to wander in earlier tomorrow.

Quite enjoyed Metallica bar a couple songs. The Day That Never Comes is a bit of a guilty pleasure so I was happy to hear that last night. The other DM song was rubbish though. I've only listened to 72 Seasons once and it did nothing for me but one of the songs off it sounded good last night, the other one not so much. The Rob and Kirk stuff is always dire but handy to go for a piss.

I've never rated Sad But True, I'd much rather hear The God That Failed.

Just started Fatherland by Richard Harris. I've never read any of his books before. Very good so far.

Also reading The Exile: The Flight of Osama bin Laden which reads like a thriller.

Read that recently too and it was also my first time reading one of his. Flew through it and looking forward to getting stuck into a few more of his.
