Messa - The Spin
Another great album. Probably their best sounding album so far. Some lovely guitar tones and playing from Alberto

Late to the party as usual, as I tend to wait for stuff to come out on disc. Finally watched Nosferatu today and absolutely loved it. I'm a bit of an Eggars fan boy anyway, but thought it was brilliant.

I have a Boss DM-101, which is an awesome analog delay. Strymons sound great, but they are very clean. Pristine. Not everyone is into that. So I'd see if you can try one first.

Glen Tipton & K.K. Downing

I love that Lombardo's bass drums sound like bass drums and not clicky clicky typewriter keys.

Yeah, the Sennheisers is had were Momentum 2s. Had them for about 12 years
Obviously replaced the cable and muffs once or twice over that time..but thought they'd last forever.  Devastated when they broke. Loving the Sonys. Doubt they'll last close to as long though. Using them with a dedicated hi-res music player, with a 1TB micro SD card. Too much choice  ;D

Having good headphones again. My old Sennheisers, which I'd had for years, finally gave up the ghost late last year. I'd borrowed a basic pair of Sonys off the daughter to tide me over. Not bad at all, perfectly adequate.
Over Christmas I'd decided to treat myself. So, I picked up a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5s for a good price. Mother of God, they're so good !

First two are superb, and two of my favourite albums ever. Such a great band. I like lots of what followed, but the consistency was never as strong.

Fucking bastarding wasps ! Got stung on the big toe when changing my shoes when I got home from work. Felt like I'd stepped on glass or something.

The little bass bit during the chorus of The Prisoner by Iron Maiden.
