I've had some hilarious moments bursting out laughing in public listening to it. At this point, I just go with it. It's good to see people laughing.

It's a joke the has been used a few times but it can be funny when people can confuse what "Dogging" is, as in people thinking it's a way of saying going to the dog racing 🤣

Yeah, man. I totally agree. I left out a howl of laughter last night cooking the dinner.

Tommy talking about his son sharing a house with a lad who has a snake in his room. A snake that he's minding for the college he's studying at.

Hector: What if it gets out of the the room though?

Tommy: My son isn't an aggressive person but he said... he said (Tommy trying and failing to compose himself)... he said that if hes see the snake around the house... that he'll bate the fuckin' head offa it.

Excellent recommendations here lads. I've been listening to David McWilliams podcasts. For anyone with a passing interest in economics it's very informative.
To be fair, I would class David McWilliams' podcasts as more than just economics, it tends to be more about behavioural patterns, anyhoo I listen on a regular basis. I'm also listening to The Stand with Eamon Dunphy, once you get over his rambling question style, the content is pretty good usually. I'm just gonna start the Tommy/Hector one based on this thread. And I'm really hoping Hector is not as annoying as I normally perceive him.
Also, You're Dead to Me from the BBC is pretty decent too

I've yet to talk to someone that's opinion of Hector wasn't swayed by the podcast. No one liked him prior to this.

He was tolerable when he was doing that 'Amú' series on TG4. Anything between that and hearing this podcast, he was one of the most annoying fuckers around, so fair play to him.

For sure. Seemed to be his presenting style when on TV. On that podcast though he's just a sound fucker who tells great stories. Definitely the highlight of the show in general.

I've only listened to one and he sounded to me like he had to be heard above the other two no matter what, like it was his show and not theirs. Maybe I just caught a bad one but I wasn't inclined to listen further TBH.

Nah, I don't find that the case anyway.

The Fat Emperor

https://thefatemperor.com/podcasts/

Edit :   Nothing hilarious about The Fat Emperor , its about digging into root causes of modern chronic diseases

Latest two of Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast are absolute beauts - Geoff Norcott and Sarah Kendall are the guests.

Great to have Rich back recording them live after having to do it remotely due to C19 and then the poor fucker got diagnosed with testicular cancer (on the mend now with brilliant jokes about it).

I find his podcasts to be at their best when he lets his guests speak, but he tends to butt in and babble which can be annoying. It works best with an audience though, definitely.

You probably enjoy the Norcott one so. I think people were expecting/hoping him to be a mouthy right-leaning Tory supporter so that RH could slap him down.

When he starts starts talking mental health and his reasons for being a working class Tory voter - the whole dynamic of the show changes and RH goes from being a smartarse (which he is fucking brilliant at) into being an interviewer.

I might give it a spin.
