Somebody blew the load on their Instagram and put up the tour poster prematurely.

European dates were;

06/05 Nurburg, GER –
06/08 Amsterdam, NET – TBA
06/21 Clisson, FRA – TBA
06/26 Stockholm, SWE –
06/27 Somerset, UK – TBA
06/29 London, UK – TBA
07/04 Dublin, IRE – TBA
07/07 Glasgow, UK – TBA

Same date as Fontaines DC in Iveagh and Specials in Trinity, guessing Rage will end up in 3Arena.

They were good last time, but I'm guessing it'll be the 3 Arena so the guts of €100 a ticket

I'd be disappointed if it was. I know a lot of that stuff is promoter controlled, and they're a huge name, but they're not in that Elton John/Eagles tier of ticket pricing. Especially with their pronounced lack of production. They've got to fly over their gear and a big flag with a red star on it, right?

Good to see these revolutionaries with their incredible understanding of politics have listed Dublin as being in the "United Kingdom".

I was at that show last time, there was lots that pissed me off about it but I went as they were a staple listen in my teens and I never caught them. They absolutely rocked for the time they were onstage, can't fault them for the performance element - energy and delivery were 110% Crowd reaction was unbelievable too, the whole arena was hopping, even for the stuff off Evil Empire and Battle.

However;

The ticket price was extortionate - think it was €65-70 for a seat. This was clearly an accounting exercise to cover the "Free Gig" they promised London for sending Killing In The Name to Number 1 the previous xmas. Cheers lads, a free gig the rest of us have to stump up for.

Absolutely scaldy with the setlist, 14 songs , two of which were covers. Just under 70 minutes on stage.

Some of Zak's spiels were toe curling. "We, the poor need to unite so we can take back from the rich" 14,000 X €65 = Gross Sales of 910,000 for one gig. Absolutely bent.

If the setlist was longer an ticket prices reasonable I'd go again, could possibly stomach some of the above.

Never understood the fascination with this band - absolute shite with the exception of a few ok songs   I'll pass.

A staple of my youth for sure but I don't think I could ever shell out the kind of money they want for this obvious cash grab. No album?  Cryptic Stench outlined many reasons for not going, being lectured by millionaire socialists about "taking the power back" is a convincing one though.

To quote Porcupine Tree : "Music of rebellion makes you wanna rage, but it's made by millionaires that are nearly twice your age".

Fuck sake, lads, unclench those sphincters.

Doesn't look like anyone will get the chance to avoid it anyway. Turns out the poster was faked..

No need to get so worked up.

The wankers at this gig will be incredible!!!

Blah blah blah. Tis fucking Rage. I'll probably hit them somewhere in Europe whenever the real tour is announced.
