Who are the unreadable last band under Sodomized Cadaver?

Aslan - they headlined the 2019 Cork Jazz Festival, Opera House stage (sadly, this isn't a joke) so now they've decided to do a few gigs on the metal circuit.

According to their social media (cos I couldn't read it either) it's Ruairi O'Baoighill, an ambient/drone artist - https://ruairiobaoighill.com/

Not heard of either of those Polish bands but they look like my cup of tea, and it's nicely continuing Monolith's emergent theme of being a bit of a darker affair than your Urban Assault, even Siege to an extent.

Sodomized Cadaver were the most fun bands of the night last time, delighted they're back.

I  saw those lads in London earlier in the year and thought they were good fun, would love to see them in Dublin at some point.

I'm gonna be that guy: I also saw them in London a year or two ago and thought they were absolutely fucking terrible. Gorerotted "cheeky chappy" death metal nonsense. But sure that's just a matter of taste I guess.

"Cheeky chappies" they may be but they were a nice respite from the kvlt "seriousness " I was subjected to most of that day. Each to their own and all that..

That's more or less how I felt about them at Monolith. They were the first thing to get the "arms folded till 11 PM" Cork punters moving and broke up the usual deluge of no talky, serious doom stuff.

And I'd be waaaay more into the pretensions of black metal than I'd be a death head.

Sure, I've no problem with the capes and candelabra brigade but I also quite like me some low brow knuckle dragging brutality. In my case I was watching Mayhem perform and found the tuneless discordance peppered with monotonous blastbeats boring as fuck. At least Sodomized Cadaver were playing identifiable songs with yknow, riffs and traditional song structures.

Ruairi O'Baoighill is the bottom name on the poster.

Line-up is shaping up nicely.
A bit funny getting Sodomized Cadaver back a second year running.
Probably a booking stipulation, though.
