Been waiting for the Shlug to come back to Cork, so looking forward to this. Hopefully it fills out after Siege. Spailpin is a nifty little venue with a good crowd. Good way to spend the night before Mayhem, and all!  :abbath:

Deadly.

((OHHMS)) blew the fucking roof off of that place they played in Cork a few years ago. A ping pong bar with the stench of a filthy jacks in the Mardyke complex.

Few bands there I've wanted to see for a while.

I've no doubt this will do well.
It's a tasty line-up.

€25 might be a bit much for some casual gig goers, though.

Ohhms were deadly that night. I was dying with a hangover and they beat it out of me. 25 euro i think is decent but as someone said for the casual goer might be a bit steep. I'm playing at it so dosen't effect me and that's all that matters

Here's the link to the proper poster. Way better than the one in the original post. Can't attach for some reason

I think it's a bit much, anyway.
It's going to limit numbers, in my opinion.

I hope I'm wrong.

Wholly agree with ya, defo WTF moment when I saw that for this line up. What's more surprising though is that Paranoid Beast aren't promoting the gig on this forum, don't seem bothered looking for punters anyway.

Two fiddy a band plus 9-11 hours gattin' isn't too bad though, I suppose. You'd pay about the same in Cyprus Avenue for a name DJ doing generic deep house for half that time, nowhere near the same buzz IMO. And I like my house.

Obviously gets a bit steeper when plenty won't come along until 8-10 o'clock I suppose.

Aye, but a couple of Benny Hills with a couple of bottles of water compared to a hape a pints at a Metal all dayer?

Its not 2003 anymore, places like this are dead compared to 15 years ago.PB are possibly the most active promoters in Ireland on social media.

The Crawling are the only band that interest me on the bill,im not paying €25 to see them.

Their social media campaigns are RELENTLESS.
There's a barrage for each upcoming gig practically every single day.
