Nice to see Opeth jumping up to a bigger venue, pretty sure they played the Academy on their last visit. Will definitely be attending this. Also looking forward to the new album this year, hopefully we'll get a new track or two to tease it soon!

Strange limelight didn't get on this and stick it in the Telegraph Building, it'd be a big jump from limelight but they did sell it out in November 07.

Didn't they play the Olympia before? Think about 2011?

I've heard the lease on the Telegraph building is only running for another few months and then it's getting turned into a lovely wee office block, so it wouldn't be available for a gig in November.

Was the Olympia gig with Mourning Beloveth? I know they played up in Belfast around that time.

Olympia gig was with Mourning Beloveth alright, but it was before 2011.  Maybe 08-09.

They definitely  played Vicar street about 10 years ago or more also.
Ticket from their 2001 gig.

Had them in Vicar St a few times and they did Olympia once in between the DME shows too so this isn't a sudden jump for them. Sad to seemingly have lost them permanently now but yeah.....

Already gigs booked for the Telegraph Building in November so it was definitely an option.

Yeah I saw them the time they played Vicar st with Anathema on the Heritage album, not their finest work but they played only like 2 songs off it the rest was killer. Will defo be hitting this!

"Robb Flynn liked this"  :abbath:

Just looking at the London set, plenty of room for extended bar and toilet time in the middle

^ I'm the opposite ... love the setlist. They seem to have dropped (or alternated) The Moor from the Norwich gig and brought in Sorceress for the London show. I'm hitting Dublin and Munich so hopefully will get both options.

Yep, The Moor in place of the Heritage track would be a good move for me
