I saw them a few weeks ago in Hamburg and they were fantastic, so I'll definitely be going to Cork. Maybe Limerick too. The new album is a banger.

Spirit Store, Dundalk,

Haven't listened to the new album yet, must give it a go.  Based on how good they were supporting The Stranglers in Limerick this year, i'll definitely be hitting the Dolans show this time around too.

when are they in Dolans?

Edit: Well done, Me

Fuckin eejit.  Yeah come down to it, their set the last time was lethal start to finish.  Great to see them comimg back through again so soon.

Tickets got for The Spirit Store. Was there last year for The Wood and Wire acoustic show. Brilliant venue

Were the recent shows genuinely any use lads?

I've seen the band on every tour up to the Crooked Timber one but by that point I thought they'd lost it. Didn't sound great as a three piece and the setlists were shit, Crooked Timber start to finish was something I could've lived without.

The acoustic tour was very good. A lot better than I thought. Haven't youtubed the current tour yet but the new album Cleave is excellent.
Crooked Timber was shite!!!! 😂😂😂

I think I will. It'd be nice to get out for a few cups of milk at the very least. I might even try put myself through their new album. Although I'm not too hopeful as I haven't liked a note of it since Infernal Love.

Edit: Just listened to the album start to finish on youtube and it is actually decent. I think it helped having zero expectations but it was enjoyable and I didn't skip any of it.

Zero expectations is always a good place to start. They were playing every song off it at the start of the Europen tour so I gave it a good bit of time and grew to really like it. The songs meshed well with the classics at the gig and I've continued giving it regular spins in the weeks since. It has been quite a pleasant surprise, I didn't think they still had it in them.

They've finally relented and added Opal Mantra into there set list. Track alone is worth going to see them, no Dublin date as of yet.

Ah here!

No, it was class.

And they played Opal Mantra  ;D

No Belfast show then? Cleave is a really strong album, although it's about 10 mins too short in my opinion.

I'm very much looking forward to Satruday. Did anyone here see them last night?
