I have nothing against this england team as I support Utd  but the the scummy fans  they attract and the media wankfest  drive people nuts,its no wonder people cant warm to them.

I frequent a Liverpool FC forum and about 80% of the lads on there are English and every one of them bar two lads were delighted that Italy won.
They despise the England set up and the circus that surrounds it.
But then again, you have the 'We're not English, we are Scouse' thing too...

I was talking to only one English person since the game and they also said they were happy England lost. And as they have been living here a long time they also said Declan Rice was a "dirty turncoat cunt" and were delighted to see him crying at the end. She is also a 50 something old Londoner so I would have thought she'd be more patriotic but then maybe she is...

He's a proven goalscorer but that's crazy money for him. That's elite money. Chelsea never afraid to spend a few quid though. They'll probably go for Haaland next summer.

It's not that simple. The club will make an absolute fortune on merchandising, marketing, advertising etc just by having Messi in the team. He is a global brand, not just a football player therefore he should negotiate a contract that befits what he is worth to the Club.

I see PSG's ridiculously good team on paper and it just fails to excite me in the least. It's probably something to do with the overall weak standard of Ligue 1 and knowing that team is put together with the sole purpose of winning the CL. The PL should be an interesting proposition this year though with City, United, Liverpool and Chelsea all thinking they have a strong chance of winning it.

I reckon United might be the ones, but I hope the wheels come off before Christmas. Liverpool looked fucked last year and hopefully Klopp hasn't ran the shit out of them too much the last couple of years for them to maintain a challenge, although Van Dijk's return is massive. City are City, have at least 2 squads there and will probably end up with Kane up top, and Chelsea are lacking something that I can't quite put my finger on, but which I reckon Lukaku won't be the answer to.
