England doing that daft kneel down gesture and the extremely black Senegalese team look on bemused ha ha ha class. Pump them to Dakar and back, boyz!

That Neymar c**t is looking more and more like Butthead every day

Please Jaysus. The ITV/BBC pundits are managing to be St.Bernard vanilla ice cream bland and insufferably smug at the same time. Out out out!

Thought the Brazilians were a disgrace tonight with their dancing around in front of the South Koreans , the Croations won't be long putting the boot in.
My money has been on Argentina from the off so ,yeah, probably biased against Brazil anyway and want to see them gone. The sight of Neymar prancing around with the World Cup ...just, no.

Also I think it far from certain France will do England, all the way to pens probably

I think on paper they're a much stronger team Mbappe has the potential to really make a show of Maguire etc. France have serious eye for goal, England as usual have had a soft run of it.

Hmm, I actually think if you take Mbappe out of it then England are, man for man and including the bench, stronger overall. I'd doubt they'd leave Mbappe to Maguire, probably have Kyle Walker do a man for man on him.

I've always had a soft spot for Brazil so I hope they win it out. The dancing is a bit lame alright, no question. After that game against Germany in 2014, I thought they might leave that off til they actually won the thing. It looks a bit stupid in the first knockout game.

Croatia were dead on their feet against Japan and the age profile is against them. Brazil got their work done in 45 mins and coasted after.

Apart from Mbappe, England probably have a squad who, on paper at least, are better than France, but Mbappe is just lethal. If he's on form I'm not sure if any defence can deal with him.

Croatia got among the best 8 teams in the world. That is an incredible and enormous achievement, I'm happy with that as it is, there's nothing left to lose.
I'm not really following what is going on to be honest, and have no idea in what kind of shape most of the teams are in.

England have gotten away with murder, the Iran, Wales and Senegal games were so soft.

Ignore Frances defeat to Tunisia as they put out a B team, Denmark was the key match there as they actually gave them a game and I was impressed how France dug in and found a way to win. A stark contrast to the USA England game where England ran out of ideas fairly quickly.

Surely, considering the big names, a Brazil v Argentina semi final and Portugal v Argentina final would make for the biggest matches of all time, nearly ever?

Bonus points if Santos kept Ronaldo on the bench for said final. Imagine his face.
