Can't say I'd be much of a fan bar a couple of songs but I haven't seen them live and their stage show looks class so yeah I think I might hop on the bandwagon for a night  :abbath:

They're a bit like Tool for me, in that I can enjoy all their songs individually but find a full album can be a bit of a slog to get through. But they also look like having a great stage show so I'll probably pick up a ticket

Only saw them once before supporting Devin Townsend, that was 15 years ago so I'm sure they'll be a lot more elaborate! Funnily enough Periphery opened that gig too, and were as shite then as they are now

I probably won't head to this but Meshuggah as I've seen them a few times already but they are a great live act. They really put effort into the light show which makes for a great gig. 3 Arena seems big for them to me but pretty much everything that gets announced seems to sell out these days.

Not a chance they're doing 14k tickets

Seen them 5 times, they are class live. I'm assuming the €80 is standing?  :vomit:

Seen them once live, they are savage, if you are a fan at all and never seen them I would go regardless.  I probably won't myself because it is midweek in Dublin  but they are savage and I could see it doing well in this venue.

Has anyone ever ordered those souvenir tickets that ticketmaster started offering this year? It's a separate option to the normal shitty paper ones they mail out but I can't find any photos online of what they look like.

I did back in 2017, I think it was they first started offering them (2017).

They are basically a hard plastic tour laminate and look like this:

My only one was for Descendents in Brixton Academy so came with a picture of Brixton Academy with Descendents on the marquee and the ticket info on the back, thought it looked shit and to top it off was moved to Kentish Town Forum so they picture was wrong

Google "collector ticket ticketmaster" and you get an idea, I assume the Meshuggah one will have the gig poster (https://www.instagram.com/p/DfRuXxpAQtK/) on it

Not even a fan but very glad to have seen them live once, was well worth it.

Seen them in Vicar street years ago. Was pretty good now, sound was class at it. Wouldn't be too pushed seeing them again. Mad it being on in the 3 though. I didnt think they were that popular. Must be all the youth

Mad that they have become so big as they are so musically dull and one dimensional. Even after seeing them supporting MH when I was 13, and being impressed by their heaviness, I wasn't inspired to buy an album. On one hand, it's cool to see a band that heavy do well, and they've certainly earned it, but lord fucking Jaysus they are a boring band

Agreed. I've never understood how such a monotonous band became so popular.  It must be the sex appeal.
