Anyone pick these up yet?

How'd they sound and where's best?

They're meant to be getting released by Universal in Europe in 2026, so don't go paying mental import prices for them.

Yeah IMusic has them for February, they were delayed as UMG top 20 stuff took priority at the plants. Asfaik they won't be a limited run either.

The feedback so far seems to be good aside from the usual paper sleeves scuffing etc. No remasters as the original tapes went up in flames in the Universal fire and since Glenn & Rubin hate each other nothing fancy in the future😂

Well.

Mine landed today. 40€ each not a liner note or a lyric sheet to be had. No frills affair.

Saw one lad on insta saying his boots had more effort put into them than the new pressings.

Will switch out my first two at some stage as I've the good boots of 3&4 which look and sound class.

Have IV on now and it does sound cool, can't help but feel shortchanged somewhat. Seems like everything's getting a press but with minimum effort

Definitely a lot of that going round but as long as the classics are in circulation there's no harm (except to wallets & shelf space).

Glenn's probably salty as allegedly he had a piece of the boots.

Got one and two the other day feom imusic. Cuntish seam split on one which I got a partial refund for. Don't really give a fuck as long as they sound good..which they do.

This is why I stick to buying mainly old presses. Fucking 180g vinyl is either destroying the sleeves or warped and people still think it's better then the older thinner records..the mind boggles. High time these cunts started shipping with the records outside the sleeves.

Seam splits can be cuntish but at the same time they were great for discounts on Discogs. Recall getting Loud Love by Soundgarden for €10 new as the seller had the cover down as poor:one tiny split that you wouldn't see if you weren't looking.

Suprised they're not cutting down on the 180g to cut costs.

They are on amazon uk for 37 quid up..as much as I want em I cant justify that

Spindizzy are selling for €31

Must pick up a copy of the debut reissue come payday.Still have Lucifuge and 4, kinda never liked How The Gods Kill though
