Did a search for ridiculous metal band photoshoot. This was the first result. I swear it wasn't in my recently searched 🫢

That Immortal one always make me think Abbath has a shark mouth on his stomach.

I could be wrong but I always thought the crouched guy on the left was Abbath and the belly lad was Horgh. I bought that album in the Sound Cellar in 99 and that was a time when I absolutely pored over every letter and image of a cd booklet but maybe I'm mistaken after all these years?

That Entombed photo is one of the all time iconic metal shots. Agreed that Morbid Angel had some sensational early photos as well. Attitude oozing out of the image.

I just looked again and it's me that's been wrong all along.
The face paint is a give away.

Would love to see a thread of irish bands past and present like this. Im sure there are some cringe, I proabaly have a load of Nuclear reign some where on a hard drive somewhere....shame myspace is gone, I imagine that would be a goldmine.

I definitely did my fair share of shite ones with Wound upon wound. Always hated the terrible one we did for mortichnia too...they weren't off the scales on cringe, just poorly executed.
