Nice place for someone making second rate thrash for the last 30 odd years,  although I think I remember reading he was a ghost writer for a few big country artists. Anyway...

Always had a soft spot for Waters, seems like a sound enough head and say what you like about Annihilator, you had to admit that they are tight as balls. I love the late 80s/early 90s stuff, lost interest around refresh the demon

For a band that wasn't exactly massive he has a nice place! Either he's invested well elsewhere or he married into money. Not that I begrudge him for either.

The first two albums are genuinely brilliant but the decline was sudden and steep after them. I suspect he has many things on the go, Annihilator wouldn't be enough to sustain a living wage.

£250,000 for a bunch of Epiphones is fucking mental, however. Yeah, there are a few decent guitars in there but averaging £2,500 per guitar is lunacy. His celebrity value is quite limited, at best, I would say.

Spot on in every respect dude. He's a super talented bloke but let's face it most of the records are rubbish. First two are tops then in the right humor I like the third but everything worse should be in the unintentionally hilarious thread.

Even if he was looking for less just remember that you'd never fit another 100 guitars in the guitardrobe and the missus would kill you

I have higher standards and so does she

His unusually high wealth is a combination of ghost-writing songs for pop and/or country artists (business must be particularly booming now) and his wife being involved in property. He wrote three Van Halen-like solo albums for a computer game recently (I think two of which were released) and said he made more from them than anything he made off Annihilator.

I love the first four Annihilator albums and Criteria of a Black Widow. The other albums might have two excellent tracks per album but diminishing returns. It just all sounds the same.
