Yeah, was €100 for a ticket, never spent that much on one before but seems to be the going rate these days. Plus the missus loves them and it's her birthday coming up so I used that to justify it to myself!

Got my ticket for €80 so must have been €100 for the first three rows.

According to the promotors post 80% sold! Mad! I thought it'd be slow given the price - stand corrected

They haven't been here in 6 years and it will be nearly 7 by the time this one comes around.  They didn't hit Ireland during the recent (Oct 2024!) album tour so I'm not in the least bit surprised by the hunger.

This seems to be selling quite well.
Was lucky enough to nab two tickets for the stalls section.
Looking forward to hearing the new stuff live, Roll on August  :abbath:

Blood Incantation just announced as support for the Italian dates, hopefully get the same for here

That would be insane

Seen one of italian dates was listed as pompei. I assume its actual pompei like pink floyd did? Couldnt think of 2 better suited bands for it if that is the case

Pompeii tickets sorted.  They had me at Hello!

Was at Tori Amos at the Bord Gais last night, no alcohol allowed in the auditorium, that will go down well with the metallers...

How is she live these days? Saw her in Vicar Street (coincidentally where I've seen Opeth twice) in 2005 and she was amazing. Unreal stage presence.

I've been there a few times and that's standard procedure. Used to be the same in the Point and TBMC, and the SFX had no bar at all. If we survived then sure they'll be grand now.

There's a thing - when was the last time you were searched going into a gig? It's been a long time for me, is it still a thing or have I just gotten to the 'respectable middle-aged man' stage where I'm not seen as a worry? Because I'll have to go and march in the sea if that's the case.

I think maybe at Dave Chappelle in the 3 Arena a few years ago, but I might have made that up.

I got searched at the Three Arena going to see Wu Tang Clan and Nas in 2023.

The gas thing there was they clearly weren't looking for people with the devil's lettuce on them as the amount of people lighting up at it was mad.
