Yer Ma's...!!!

Managed to get a resale ticket yesterday there a few on TM at the moment could be more again before the date who knows

I'm thinking of getting a resale ticket for this, haven't seen Opeth in a few years now. I've a few mates headed but the prospect of getting stuck seated next to a gobshite for 80 bucks is really unappealing to me and will 100% ruin the show.

Savage gig. Great setlist by Opeth. Ticked all the boxes. Sound was good, lights and show were on point.

Hallas were a nice support, would love to see them in a normal venue as a headliner tbh. Hard to get the crowd going when they're set-up like that.

Venue was nice but just doesn't suit metal. Whatever about not being able to bring a drink into the venue, or get out of your seat and rock out - I understand that. But to close the bars outside so you couldn't pop out for a quick pint or shot in a quiet moment was a bit of a balls.

Opeth still have it though. That was rocking

Yeah they were excellent,  wasnt aware of the bars closed during the set but as I was only having a couple anyway. Eating popcorn watching Opeth a bit surreal.
Opeth were excellent,  their musicality is off the charts live.
Loved Devils Orchard, Drapery Falls, Demon of the fall, plus the songs fron Last Will were also great. One of the gigs of the year for me. 2 hours too so good length.
Hallas were decent, very Seventh Son er Maiden vibes there. Live the Bord Gais thought it worked for the gig.
Staff were cool too especially the lad/lady on 3rd floor opening the door patiently and lighting the way , legend.

Yeah, the Bord Gais is a great venue. Saw Heilung there a couple of years ago and it was absolutely fantastic, the sound and the stage size were absolutely bang on for the production. Staff were brilliant too... Really nice place and was handy to get in and out of, plus parking too...

Really enjoyable gig, great setlist of having one song from most of the albums and then the standard extra couple from the latest

Band seemed to be in good form, and Mendez has to be the most underrated players around, forgot how good some of his basslines are

Mighty gig, hadn't seen Opeth since 2006.Very enjoyable night, they have so many catchy songs and just flowed through the albums and the 2 hour set.
New album tracks sounded great live.
