Metal 2 the Masses is a "Battle of the Bands" style event with the winner getting an opportunity to play at Bloodstock this year. The winner also gets a recording session and a video shoot.

All heats this year take place in Fibber Magees, Dublin and is organised by Jetrocker Events

All heats are free entry and a voting slip costs €3
