Any idea of stage times yet? Is there any support act? Trying to plan the night around public transport options.

No tickets available on TM so must be sold out.... 50 euro to see them play a one hour set is pushing it but looks like people are willing to pay that.....

Tickets still available on TM

Love to hear something from Time Does Not Heal, 'Pain's Invention, Madness' would do nicely.

Turnout was poor for this, wasn't bowled over by the gig either.

Was wondering if it would be, saw that the London date was downgraded to the 500 capacity Underworld

Yeah when it was announced I thought there'd be fierce excitement but it was a little pricey, support were shit and I don't think the new material helped ignite interest. And all said and done the gig was only ok.

An interesting one last night - loved the way there was space to move around rather than being wedged. The front man was drawing heavily from the cliché handbook but what the fuck was Hoglan doing wearing sunglasses for the whole show?? Overall,it was good craic but that might have been the pints and the nostalgia I felt being in the Academy for the first time since 2019

I thought it was deadly myself but I'm hardly ever at gigs these days so any sort of night away from the wife and kids must have me easily pleased.

Gene Hoglan always has the shades on doesn't he?

Oh is that his thing? Didn't realise that - still it's pretentious enough. Was there 500 there total last night dya reckon??

Price put me off, 50 odd quid seemed way too much for a band of their size, without any sort of package lineup

It was a class gig!!

Yeah it wasn't a great turnout, which meant that you could walk straight up the front center. Grand job!

The band played their socks off. Yeah the singer was every bit an American cliché, but he gave a lot of energy to the room. He's not tall, so it was like where's Wally looking for him when he was frequently mingling with the crowd

Gene is a beast and the two guitarists sounded great when they were soloing, I thought that maybe the riffing volume could have been louder at times.

I caught the last couple of songs from Schizophrenia and I enjoyed them. Again, the guitar solos sounded good, but the riffs were almost inaudible where I was standing on the right, being drowned out by the drumming which, to be fair, sounded fucking savage. The happiest looking drummer I've ever seen in a metal band? Some contrast between him smiling the whole time and Gene sitting there with his shades on.

Some strange antics in the mosh pit but that's Dublin for you I guess!!

All in all, a great evening's entertainment, might have had a better turnout if tickets were about 15 squids cheaper maybe. They clearly don't have a 50 euro draw power.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, Dark Angel destroyed and great to hear those Time Does Not Heal tracks, I literally thought it was going to be Darkness Descends front to back with maybe a couple of other early tracks at the end. Fuckin' opened with Time Does Not Heal!
Schizophrenia I can take or leave, picked up a couple of cds and I dig their enthusiasm and talent but the songs aren't quite there for me overall. Mind you I didn't tell the vocalist that outside when he signed my purchases.
