Dead Cult are delighted to announce Leeds post metal behemoth Hundred Year Old Man and Scottish powerhouses Codespeaker will be making the trip to play the Dali, Cork, on November 22nd as part of their IE/UK Tour!

Having played festivals such as Arctangent, Damnation, and Techfest, HYOM are sure to deliver an absolutely mind blowing show. They played at the Siege of Limerick in 2022 and had the warehouse room demolished by the end of their set. Codespeaker played the Siege a little more recently in 2023, delivering a sound that seamlessly and effortlessly blends crushing heaviness and atmospheric sections, they dropped a new single "Verte" today and it is well worth checking out. Joining them on the night are Cork Yeehawrdcore rodeo clowns UNCULTIVATES, who are heading out on their first UK tour next week and hitting the Siege for the first time in October.

This gig was cancelled due to some issue with the venue - repairs need to be carried out or something... I dunno.

The lads scrambled and have saved it - now on at the practice rooms in Blackpool with a reduced capacity of 50 people - BYOB.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow - be quick or be dead.

This is not my gig to promote but fair fucks to the lads for snatching it out of the jaws of defeat.

Still can't make it myself - no matter how much I tried to torpedo the wedding that I have to go to.  :abbath:

Fair dues to the lads for pulling it out of the fire, saw it pan out well online for them yesterday.  Who doesn't love a BYOB jamspace show?

(I'm going to the Limerick date anyway though)

Being in a dark industrial estate up on the Northside will lend the walk home an authentic "Judgement Night" feel too.

Long time since I walked up there through to Delaneys GAA Club for a gig back in maybe 1990 for Scraggs etc from Dublin Hill. Skin tight black jeans and white basketball boots all around the usual Delaneys teenage disco crew

So, start off on the top of Dublin Hill or at the end of Dublin Hill for a scoop??

I was up jamming in the rooms earlier. The gig room is nicely set up with cool lighting. Anyone going is going g to have a shit walk home with the torrential rain promised.

This was an absolutely killer show.
Brought me back to the old Cork Community Printshop gigs. Great vibe, atmosphere and banter. The space was perfect, sound was spot on. Can't fault a single thing.

Completely unintentional, but they really stumbled onto some special that needs to explored further.

Oh those print shop gigs were fucking class. Gutted when it closed.

Yeah it was absolutely ideal really, one of the best gigs I've been at in a long time for many reasons.

Inevitably people are hungry for more but I'm not sure how viable it is to do, might be flying too close to the sun legally. Might be an easy excuse to get the space shut down, and if that's the choice then sorry, but we need it as rehearsal rooms because we're beyond fucked without them.

Still, what a night!
