That priest in Galway also throwing in his tuppence a few months ago brought this onto my radar initially. I get the feeling Bambie wouldn't be taking too much notice of all that.
Re Israel,  will be interesting to see the reception and if anyone or who votes for the fuckers.

Given the stuff we all listen to, not sure why this song deserves to get the ' ' treatment    Wouldn't be a fan of the track myself, but I could put a thousand songs I regularly listen to beside this and ask a million people to rate them next to Bambie Thug's and all of mine would lose that popular vote!

Re Israel, I think countries at war should stay out of it while they are. Are Russia in it actually?

There have been a few good songs in the last couple of years. Last night was a bit of a stinker, musically, but sure that's not why we watch. In Italy at the moment and the commentary were calling Bambie Thug satanic. You miss Marty Whelan's undercurrent of dry cynicism to keep things moving along.

The UK one is like an advert for Grindr, they're pulling hard for the gay vote this year.

Anyway, regarding songs I can't remember the last one I actually liked in the competition but years ago I used to still watch it for the general entertaining crapness of it, until ireland stopped making the final or having any hope at all in it. Didn't know Marty Whelan was gone either, that's a pity indeed. Who's on it now?

I watched a bit of it last night as Bambie seems to be everywhere. I saw 5 songs and they all seem to be maximum everything to the max. It's full on blazing lights and monster energy mixed with shiny clothes.
