I feel the Kerbdog stuff is the result of Cormac working with Billy Dalton and then Wilt is more Cormac on his own? Think the billy guy was into heavier stuff

They recorded one song a while back but it was written about 30 years ago. Decent tune though

I hear kilkenny is well sold out. And yeah wilt are like a weaker Kerbdog, which doesn't work so well for me

I liked a couple of the tracks, but yeah no Kerbdog. A pint of Kerbdog 0.0

Never realized that they had a second guitarist in their earlier days! There ya go!

That sounds fair fuckin watery

Might throw on an album and see if it sickens my hole or not

Oim surprised they haven't done something new what with all the reunions and tours they've done.

Electricity doesn't count, cause it was originally an On The Turn cast off.

Wow! Wilt is some blast from the past for me. Bought Bastinado back in the day. Remember really liking it. Few songs like Radio Disco probably still stand up.

Tbh it really does seem ridiculous it's not like they're estranged or anything. Fair about Electricity as well but it's a cool tune all the same.

Yknow what I've been listening to is all the b sides they used to have up on the official site for download. Maybe it's still there or ye all have it but I can throw it on a drive link for anyone who likes. There's some great stuff on there

I've seen them play 'Same With The Hammer' once. That's a hefty hoot of a track. Could have easily slotted into the first album.
And Kerosene will always put a smile on my face.

Bought "Bastinado" and a few singles when I saw Wilt live in Sir Henry's way back when. "Radio Disco", "Peroxatine", "Ex-Pedestrians" and possibly "Working For The Man" are the only tracks that really hold up.

Wilt were a much better live band than anything they ever laid down on tape.

They were supported by Turn from Kells on one occasion too - (anyone remember them? Solid Pixies/Pumpkins loud/quiet alt-rock, Ollie Cole from Swampshack was the frontman - good debut and follow up EP - bass player left to join Idlewild).

Yeah, Turn were decent, picked up a few of their CDs at the time.

This b side was good too.
Maybe a bit kerbdogish

I'm after listening to the two Wilt albums here this morning and yeah there's a few decent tracks on the first album little of it is terrible really but little of it great either.

Second one My Medicine is better I think. Much more like Kerbdog tbh and still little awful but far more exciting and decent bits.

Both are still a bit like Kerbdog 0.0 as Pete says
