Swans: Live Rope

It's a ritual.

Queensryche: Empire

Fucking hell that's awful, that's the cutoff point I assume?

Some awful crap on that album

The first four Queensryche albums are absolutely class, including Empire.

Dead Kennedys - Bedtime for Democracy

The Fall - Fall Heads Roll & Reformation Post T.L.C.

Ted Nugent - S/T and Cat Scratch Fever

I'd never bothered with the Nuge at all before, he seems like such an odious twat. But gave those two albums a go (both him and a couple of his songs show up in Miami Vice and it put me in the mood) and wouldn't you know, they're pretty fucking class. He's a sleazy creep even then, but fucking hell he can write a mean riff. I really like the vocalist on the first album too.

He turned out to be fairly significant in the Nine Inch Nails sound at one stage and I went on a bit of a buzz of his stuff. He's quite distinctive

I love both Belew and Fripp. There was a period in the late 70s/early 80s where they were popping up everywhere. I love both of their work with Bowie and Talking Heads. Plus of course their Heads-influenced King Crimson collaboration, Discipline.
