Sound. It's on during the week so I'll have a look.

Never mind the various dodgy ways to watch it that I have at my disposal.

Damien - Omen II

Have seen the original Omen half a dozen times at least but never bothered with any of the sequels. This was... grand. Was expecting worse, with only 2.9/5 on letterboxd, but it was fun albeit vapid. Part III tonight... keeping expectations even lower, despite knowing Sam Neill is in it.

Halloween 6  (1995, dvd)

Not as bad as I was led to believe, they increased the violence on this one as opposed to 4 and 5.  Theatrical version. Featuring young Paul Rudd.

(The next one was 'Halloween H20'. 1998 , terrible title, mediocre movie. Just..ok?)

Halloween 3 up next...

Was Barbarian wworth a look? His previous fillum, I think.

Ah Jaysus... a prequel... we'll be up to part 15 in no time.

I really liked 2. I've never been a fan of Sam Neill, possibly stemming from 3, and find it very disappointing in comparison to 1 and 2.

I loved those films when I was a kid, to the point of buying the novelisations of all 3. The elevator scene still crosses my kind every time I get in a lift.

Watched Old Henry there. Wasn't bad, wasn't wonderful, wouldn't watch it again or even probably talk about it again after this.

I saw a clip, it looked OK. Hard to tell from a couple of minutes though.

I watched Deadpool & Wolverine tonight. It was alright, had its moments but I'm fairly fed up with the whole superhero thing though. The cameos were all very forced & one-note.

Actually really enjoyed it. Maybe especially the hammy bits. Amazing cinematography throughout too.

I've seen all the Deadpool movies and enjoyed them for the most part. Read a lot of the comics/graphic novels over the years, so I watched the movies out of morbid curiosity.

Outside of that, I haven't seen any superhero movies in over a decade. I got completely burnt out on them and doubt I've missed anything essential. Plenty of better stuff out there

Who's in it?

Henry, in his later years.
