Thought Coogan was a terrible choice myself, and I'd be a fan.

I take it you don't mean the Sam Raimi trilogy cause that final move was shite.

Watched Tony. Really good.

The American Friend (1977)

Decided to pursue our Ripley buzz by checking out some of the other adaptations of Ripley novels which had passed us by. I'm not a huge Wim Wenders fan by any stretch, but did enjoy this.

The Haunting (1999)

Holy fucking shit it was bad. Only 1hr 40mins and it was tough to get through. The only thing that rescued it was the design of the house was amazing. Looks like they spent a huge amount on the set. But the acting, dialogue, CGI etc was completely horrifying, and not in the way intended.

Wanted: Dead Or Alive (1987). Rutger Hauer. Solid enough 80s action thriller. Elevated by watching Gene Simmons explode after having a grenade shoved in his mouth and the pin pulled. Serves the douche right
