Great pre-credits scene.

When you said this, I didn't realize you meant "great pre-credits scene, the rest is like a terrible student film that sloppily wears its influences on its flimsy sleeve." Can't finish it, abandoning after what felt like an hour but was only 28 minutes.

I think I mentioned it before but Flickering Lights is another great one.

Watched Death Wish 3 and Obsession over the weekend.

5 stars for Death Wish 3.

Obsession is grand but I don't really get the hype. Great performance by Inde Navarrette but I wasn't blown away by the movie overall.

Death Wish 3 is an all timer. It's like Streets of Rage 2: The Movie

I feel like Obsession is just this generation's principle fun date horror movie, like Scream was in the mid-90s. I enjoyed it in terms of being good fun.

The Bone Temple

I enjoyed it. I've liked both the 28 years films so far. I cannot believe there was a gang of Jimmy Saviles in it though. Stick them in The Warriors and see how they get on. Definitely some of the stranger satanists I've seen in a film, though just as terrifying.

I got about half an hour into that a couple of months ago and turned it off, found it boring. I enjoyed the first/third one but The Bone Temple lost me early on. I'll go back to it at some stage as I'm told it's decent but I'm in no rush.
