I haven't seen them since they played The Pint. The gig in Whelan's on the Plague Angel tour was class.
I lost touch with them after Rom 5:12, I'll have to check out the last few albums.

Looking forward to the new live Mayhem one in September. Really enjoyed the Daemon album and the tour that followed it.

Excellent!,love Drowned!.

Are we ever going to get a new Dead Congregation album!?

if we're getting a new Drowned one after almost ten years, I'm sure DC will get round to it eventually..saw something on another forum a few months back about them playing new songs live so it must be underway.I find I really only listen to the first one.

New Stargazer ep sounds cool

Looking forward to the Vircolac and Excarnated Entity lps as well. That's my metal quota for the year sorted

Drowned tune is great. Pretty sure I read that there is a DC album recorded but don't quote me on that.

Gave the StarGazer EP it's maiden run this morning, as it happen. Enjoyed it. I'm still to give the last album a proper go but I love the 3 previous ones. Unreal band. Had always liked them but then someone described them as a modern Ripping Corpse and that oddly opened them right up for me.

Vircolac album is a beaut and the 2 EE tunes that have been released are savage so that's def gonna be a highlight.

Looking forward to the me Drowned. It's strange, they songs really unique to me but I can't quite put my fondest on what sets them apart so much as they also sound very traditional. They somehow manage to put their own little spin on things.

The new Vircolac is absolutely savage I think.

It's a combo of decent, considered songwriting and they just have that feel to their work that newer bands rarely have.

The two new songs on that Virc stream from Party San sound cool, I'd imagine the recorded version of that "She is calling" song is whopper alright. Good to see the McConnell riff machine is at full steam

I loved the Drowned debut album. I think it is the riffs they use that make the songs sound so unique.

Listed to the new song once last week and it didn't do anything for me which is not a good sign because I remember when I first heard the rehearsal that came out before the first full length it got me really hyped for the album.

On the back the stargazer EP I see they are playing never surrender fest in Dec, as are volahn who have been very quiet for the last few years. Any word of either band playing elsewhere in Europe? Would love to see either band but dunno if the fest is feasible

Just gonna go to NS. Line-up is savage.

StarGazer are a name I've been meaning to check out for years but seemingly always forgot. I've got A Merging to Boundless on here today, it's fairly stunning. There's flavours of so much going on, not really heard anything like it before. Late to the party, but no harm.

First 3 are all amazing. Only getting around to the last one now.

Bass playing does it for me. the Ripping corpse comparison is intersting actually..they don't sound  hugeley alike to these ears but it makes sense, similarly adventurous.

Ya, that was my take on it and they fit in that regard.
