Yeah, unusually mean spirited comment from Moose alright. What's that about Moose? We weren't all born with a Happy Flowers tshirt on like, and it's hardly a burgeoning genre. Did your account get hacked or something?

Must be something in the air...

"Maybe it's just pissing people off because it's shite? Or because of the label it's on?"

If you're gonna claim any band let alone Metz are the be all and end all with a "that is all" statement you can expect a sarcastic response. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings.

Ah I getcha now, just seemed a bit harsh. I didn't think he was actually making out they were the be all and all.

Just pointing that they're good, and the only band of that ilk that I currently bother with. That's all.

Very impressed with Hissing Tiles at the moment. Night quite the full on riff assault of some of the bands in here, kinda more reminiscent musically of something like Girl Band or Daughters with a young Scott Walker on vocals.

And the name reminds me of the short lived but deadly Hissing Choir - singer from PIg Destroyer and some Pg99 lads pretending to be "Cop" era Swans. This track is absolutely bludgeoning, shame they never released anything.

I may have also mixed up this tread with the old MI thread where they were mentioned quite a few times.

Seen The Shits on Saturday there, really solid Drunk In Hell/Brainbombs type stuff.

Are the Shits the band that have the original Lower Slaughter singer or is that someone else?Really wanted to see them but as is per usual, parenting prevailed over gig attending.

The Shits singer was the singer in No Form. Don't think there's any Lower Slaughter connection.

Both Chatpile eps are killer.

That's deadly.

And now folks, please stand for the late, great, PLAINFIELD - the incredibly sketchy inbred redneck offspring of Jesus Lizard and ZZ Top. Trey Spruance was an occasional member too.

I have absolutely no idea where on this board to post this, I'm certainly not starting a thread  as it's not metal, or hijacking one of the "Irish filth" thread as others have done, and it's probably more of a post-hardcore thing than anything else but I'm doing this now:

http://hsji.bandcamp.com

we've been described as somewhere between Cave In and Dinosaur Jr. "Fangs and a Cape" is probably the song that best fits this thread.

12" called "Have You Ever Been A Crow..Or Eel?" out before the end of the year

Also, not sure if this is proper "noise rock" either but it's on TGIC (the modern day Noise Rock mecca, just put out the Chat Pile/Nerver split) and it's great:

Newest Hands Up Who Wants Die lp is inceredible. Best thing they've done. Rory is a fantastic addition
