Slowly getting through the Netflix miniseries, The Bombing of Pan Am 103, about the Lougherbie bombing in 88. Despite having a few good actors in it and being an interesting story, the show has a certain level of gimpiness to it that is making it hard to connect to fully. Some of the acting is pure Fair City, and it flip-flops between forensic examinations (mostly good) and mawkish, overly-sentimental mush (cuntish), and seems like it's trying to cater to too many people, or like it's trying too hard to cater to the emotional needs of the victim's families, which, ironically, impedes it from making much emotional impact. I'll finish it off, but it's not exactly great.

Started The Last of Us season 2, like the first season a fairly faithful adaption, the kid playing Ellie gets some amount of stick online, don't get it myself.

Also watched the first episode of Six Feet Under, another one of those highly regarded shows I've never got around too, interesting start.

I got three episodes into series 2 of The Last Of Us and binned it, a huge stepdown from the first I thought. I think the post apocalyptic TV genre has had its day, like the superhero stuff.

Started the X-Men 97 series. I wouldn't be one for many animations these days, but this is very good. Obviously there's an element of nostalgia watching it. It's a bit of craic though. Fairly well written. One for the nerds really.

That's a great documentary.
There's another one where they recorded called Across the USA in 51 days that is a good tour diary of a crazy idea. It used to be on YouTube or maybe Vimeo but it doesn't seem to be online anymore.
