Currently watching Widow's Bay, a comedy horror that's actually funny and has some genuinely scary moments. Matthew Rhys plays the mayor of a cursed island who's trying to boost tourism.

Mentioned a few pages back but finally got around to Legends and thought it was great. Definitely a step above the standard Netflix fare. I have no doubt serious license was taken with the actual back story but very compelling stuff and all the performances were top notch.

Currently watching series one of "Ludwig".

David Mitchell plays twin brothers, one of whom is a cop who goes missing in the first minute of the opening episode whilst the other is effectively a anxiety-ridden shut-in who works as a puzzle setter for a broadsheet newspaper.

The puzzle setter inadvertently assumes the cop's job whilst attempting to figure out where his brother is.

It is better than I have made it sound there.

Overall very funny with plenty of twisty plot lines to get into. For fans of "Poirot", "Jeeves & Wooster" and that sort of ITV Sunday evening thing (this is on the BBC though).

I described it to my wife as "slippers and shepherd's pie viewing".

Finally got around to watching the last two episodes. Still not sure wtf I was watching all season, but it was entertaining enough. What did you think of that ending scene?

Currently watching Marshals and Dutton Ranch. Marshals is a bit flat and not doing it for me at all, Dutton Ranch is good but needs to get the pace up a bit.

Very late to the party with this one: Vice Principals from 2016 on HBO Max. Danny McBride and Walton Goggins play 2 vice principals who join forces to take down the new principal. Very funny and quite dark. McBride's character is pretty much Kenny Powers as a vice principal and Goggins is brilliant as usual.

Yep, total Kenny Powers. Watched it when it was on.

Righteous Gemstones also worth checking out if you want to see them share screen time. Goggins is brilliant in it.

I've seen it. Great show. Goggins is a savage actor no matter the genre. He was excellent in The Shield and Justified.

Great shows, great actor.
