Tasty line up! The Sound House, is that where The Pint used to be?

Always preferred it to the Voodoo Lounge, from recent pics it looks like it's been done up a bit too.

Damn right, so handy for Bus Aras too
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

So many great gigs in the Pint over the years and mostly from bands that never returned here like Absu, Diocletian etc.

What happened to the Pint it closed down or what?

Ya sure about Absu? They played the basement of The Academy in '09.

That's the gig I was at.

Yes that was the first time they played here then the Pint was 2011 and they haven't been back since.

Ya, I was at the 09 gig as well. Didn't realise they played again.

Back on topic, I picked up Nadir on LP from Sentinel the other day. Spectacular stuff. Would love to see TLS released as well but I think that's a trickier situation with labels etc.

jaysus thatvis great news if gigs are back on in there. That was my favorite venue for gigs. Great spot!

Agreed, those first two albums are untouchable. The first one is just pure youthful primal savagery, the second is a much more refined beast. Really don't think they've ever come close to those too, but look forward to the gig all the same.

I generally like everything they've done with the exception of The Dark Crusade, which is grand but ya, the first 2 are another level.

Might revisit the others but always felt let down by everything else. I did enjoy pessimist I have to say, cool vibe and themes on that one.

Has anyone got the new record yet? I'm loathe to order from Transcending Obscurity, had a few crappy experiences with them in the past - hoping the band will have some to sell directly.
