I really want one. The fact that one can use a USB full of other games as well is great stuff

Yeah, and you could have to complete ROM Set on a 2GB Key. It's great.
It's got the VIC-20 as well.

I never had the VIC-20, only the C64. Was there much in the way of games or was it more programming oriented? I already have loads of ROMs for C64 as well. Been using CCS64 to play them. SWIV is as hard as it ever was

There's nothing quite like a good Text Adventure on a Sunday afternoon. Adventure of choice: Moonmist..........

Xbox One X is €499.99
Xbox One S is €299.99
Xbox One S Digital is €299.99

The One X is a serious upgrade over the One S, albeit they are still the same generation of hardware (not to mention share the same pathetic CPU).

They've discontinued the production of the One X and One S Digital), production for the the Series X (the new gen of hardware, direct competitor to the upcoming PS5) is ramping up and they're aiming for a sort of cross-gen transition where their games will run on both the One and Series X (as opposed to Sony who are very much in the "new games are made to take advantage of new hardware, not be held back by the old one" camp, which to me is the correct choice).

I kike to have backward compatibility in a console. It's a shame if it means that new console means old the games are obsolete, and if you have them they should have the option for a digital download. I think that would make a new console more attractive.
Deep Down Six Feet, Is Where I Like To Eat

Well the Series X should play the One's (ugh, that name) library and whatever it was backwards compatible with from the 360 and original Xbox.

PS5 should be able to play the PS4's library.

Full backward compatibility would be good. It would be a matter of an emulator these days, (yeah, okay, a bit easier said than done but it would be al lot easier than before I'd reckon).

Games I have been enjoying lately:
Snowball: The first in the Silicon Dreams Trilogy https://www.mobygames.com/game/c64/silicon-dreams

Turrican:

Turrican and Turrican II are absolute classics! Still have my C64 cassettes for both.
Give Gunlord X on the current gen consoles a go - Total Turrican homage!

I just watched a trailer for it. HOLY SHIT THAT LOOKS AMAZING! It's like a modern day Turrican. Huge level's, huge bosses, loads to blow the crap out of and explore. You can even turn into the 'rotary' (spiked wheel), for navigating area's too.
The colours, and the graphics and sonic effects are outstanding too, it really looks like a great game. Thanks for telling me about that  :)
