The Type O Negative thread

Listened to Bloody Kisses last night for the first time, it was awesome. Kind of more goth metal on a full listen. It's also interesting the way they have very long songs that kind of have movements rather than traditional structures.

I do love the vocals and lyrics. I know he was known to take the piss, but it makes it hard to establish whether he's taking the piss some of the time, or all of the time, and something about that is pretty appealing

There is much to explore with this group, sounds and textures, atmosphere. Most importantly, great song writing across many years (whether you prefer some albums over others ).
