That's mad , was into this too at the time, myself and a few mates used to swap tapes and we all liked this but we just assumed we were the only ones who heard of it. Follow the wheels , wheels of fiiiiire

Maybe this got listed - but there isnt a bad riff on this. Its their only good album IMO, but some seriously memorable hooks on this one -

Dan Mongrain really deserves more recognition as a guitarist

Yeah Mongrain is a serious talent, love those three Martyr albums.

His playing with Gorguts is great too, he's such a versatile player.

Everything by Forced Entry, top notch thrash/speed metal on par with the classics for me.

For those who dig chaotic hardcore -  Kiss It Goodbye's album She Loves Me... She Loves Me Not is pretty darn good. Members of Rorschach/Deadguy.

Also Bloodlet - Entheogen.

Nostromo - Ecce Lex. Swiss grindcore/mathcore. fantastic album, maybe the mathcore elements put people off

Mistress - Chronovisor. Birmingham grind/sludge. Love this band, similar to Charger / Raging Speedhorn. While I'm at it, Charger - Diary of a Man Mad Enough to Live Among People was great too, that whole style seems to have been forgotten.

^ Good stuff there for sure - Nostromo were a class band. Knut as well.

Mistress were some filth alright - definitely throwing some hooky fast stuff to go with the doom/sludge.

Mare EP - maybe not as unknown, but still - a loss, for those who dig post-rock/metal.

I haven't listened the nostromo album for years. Was one of them from Scotland? Perhaps I'm thinking of a different band. Regardless it's a great album.

You rarely see them mentioned with all the classic prog bands of the 70s, but I've had a hard on for UK for many years now, especially their self-titled debut.

Killer line up, (Eddie Jonson, John Wetton, Bill Bruford and Allan Holdsworth), some slick as fuck playing, super catchy too.

Wrathchild America - Climbin' The Walls.
Shame they never made it bigger.

Picked up Dawn - Slaughtersun last year but it's only in the last week or so I got around to giving it some proper attention. Great stuff.
