Personally still buy all there releases and enjoy them.  They never disappoint. They are consistently the same and that's what I like.  They have never reached the heights of Morbid Angel or Deicide, they have also never reached the barrel scraping lows of those bands either.

Yeah, Gallery for me too

Really underrated album from their catalogue. It has a sense of rotten melody to it throughout. Also, it has "From skin to liquid".

That's the highlight of it right there for sure
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

I've never really listened to Cannibal Corpse before, had a listen to this new album there and I quite enjoyed it. Some of the leads reminded me of Death.
If their recent stuff is regarded as sub-par, I'm looking forward to checking out some more earlier stuff.

The Bleeding album came on autoplay afterwards - very tasty.

The Bleeding is a classic. Eaten -> Bloodthirst are all worth a listen.

it really does a rotten melody to it. I'd say it is their darkest album and the production is quite different for them on that album. To be fair they are quite consistent as far as I'm concerned. I'm looking forward to seeing them with Rutan in the future.

I got into Cannibal because a mate of mine stuck the live cannibalism DVD on and the title track stood out because it sounded so fucking heavy. Ended up buying Gallery that weekend.

Only getting around to watching the centuries of torment documentary on YouTube over the last few nights. It's a great watch.

Really good documentary, even if they skim over the majority of the albums after Bloodthirst. Thay may do another one about Pat O'Brian and his departure from the band.
