Just cut all my hair off again for the second time in 5 years, ad it's nice to not have a pile of ratt, dry straw on my head for a while. Not a big fan of having short hair but there's something weirdly satisfying about growing it back

If I tried to grow my hair at this stage it would look like little more than the idea of hair. Like a thought bubble forming above my head containing the most nebulous thought of hair.

It's a great feeling when you cut it all off. There's that tinge of sadness and regret - what the fuck have I done? - mixed with relief that the maintenance that goes with long hair is now unnecessary. And if you shave it, the bliss that goes with spreading a cold palm across your bare scalp is mighty.

I wouldn't have the patience to grow mine out again - lockdown was a help the last time - and if I did I suspect I'd have the Devin Townsend look down to a tee by the time it got ling enough.

Oh god give me til tomorrow and I'll be like "what the fuck did I do that for",it's definitely WAAAAY shorter than i wanted, but to be fair, it was badly needed cos i'm terrible at looking after it and I looked like some sort of cross between Wurzel Gummidge and Shane Embury. And sure it grows back.

Last time , it had been 30 years since I'd been in a barbers. When i told the lad that, he gave me the student discount because of the fact I hadn't been in a barber's since my junior cert

Currently going through the process of growing out both an ill considered mullet, and an ill considered lemmy beard  I hate the dog rough middle stage where I just have some mad curly bowl cut vibe going on on top of my dome...

I shaved my head for the first time since I grew my hair in 2022 and immediately regretted it. I couldn't wait for it to grow back.

I only had it long on top when I grew it back and shaved at the sides. I am now in the process of growing it the same length all over and currently in that scruffy / fuzzy phase on the sides which is annoying.

Doomsday is the best debut from any of the US thrash bands, and I'll happily die on that hill

It's hard to choose between 'Doomsday...' and 'No Place...'

NPFD has some amazing parts to songs that are already great, but I feel DFTD is the better album

Newsted is a beast on it too
