Epic wanks and dominos pizza  most likely

Farting in a lift and then 8 people boarding as you disembark.  The perfect crime.

Having a beer, listening to the new Blood Incantation and will wind down later with some Nick Cave.

That new Nick Cave album is phenomenal, album of the year for me by a long way.

Yeah it's a great listen. Love how it's quite chilled but still has that uneasy energy that Cave does so well.

It's an ambient album in all but name, really. Stuck it on for a train journey the other week (was saving it 'til I had time to listen to it through), by the third track I'd pre-ordered the physical release. Spectacular return to form.

I don't know why he bothers with the And The Bad Seeds suffix these days, it's a two man show with himself and Ellis. Even on the Ghosteen artwork they're the only two pictured, and they write everything between them anyway.

Getting a free ticket to a gig... unexpected but very welcome. Twas the doomy punk folk collective Lankum who played St Luke's in Cork last night. Great stuff.

A perfect dinner (lamb chops & garlic spuds), a roaring fire and feet up with a big ol' glass of rum & Coke.

Pissing the Nialls and the Neils of this world off by (unintentionally) criss-crossing their names.

Perhaps not exactly simple, but I love when new discoveries like this challenge our comprehension of things and the response is to learn more to fully understand it. It is one of the most admirable traits of humanity.

Fascinating stuff.  Black holes are mind bending to consider.  Then again,  astrophysics in general is mind bending!

Yep, it ties back into the whole meaning of life thing. Once you start to try to comprehend the scale of everything, our own individual position loses the significance we crave... but that's a matter for another thread

Absolutely.  It really shows how infinitesimally tiny we are but I like to think of it as being a little speck that drops in to this eternal energy flow,  consciously getting to explore it for a brief time,  and dropping out again.  It's pretty meaningful in its finite-ness  8)
