Why oh why didn't I go to them touring that in Cork back in the day. I got into them a few days after the gig in Nancy's, d'oh...

Meet your (slightly worse) twin here - I'd heard Obituary before the Cork gig but decided I didn't like them as they were 'too slow' so didn't bother going.....fucking eejit!

Watching this here now, it's brilliant. COD is a top 3 DM album for me anyway, only sorry I missed that show myself. I've only seem them once, supporting Slayer that time and that hardly counts- especially as they played nothing from this if memory serves.

Yeah Ancient Ones, I had heard them just before the gig but hadn't fully digested them yet. Being a nipper with feck all money swayed my foolish decision... probably saving for some cheap-ass 3-pack of blank tapes to get more tunes in school at the time ☺️

Nice one for the photos Shane, hadn't seen those on MI before. Any chance you have one inside showing the jam packed  venue in full flow?

That stream is indeed excellent. Hopefully the SWR set ends up online at some stage.

Thanks anyway bro. Hehe, picturing the driver's reaction  to ye explaining ye were off to Obituary promoting Cause of Death 😆 Probably a while before he picked up long haired gits again!

Who supported anyway?

Wasn't it Cerebral Fix supporting actually? The mind comes and goes at this stage, whereas Shane you'll always be the Jimmy Magee of metal memories!

Yeah , maybe I didn't put these up on the old forum, can't remember now.

The bar owner or manager or whatever had visitors over and they got a great kick out of all the metal heads in the bar.

Yeah, Cerebral Fix supported, just 1 photo of their singer, up the side alley Simon Forrest -
Showing me age here, but that's a solid aul door.
