Fanmade mix of some tracks from Max Richter's Sleep album (which is over 8 hours long in total). Very chilled out/ambient/minimalist stuff:

Man that's class. I've saved it to my YT playlist.

You might like this too, it's along similar lines. More of a Brian Eno feel to it with shoegazy/ethereal vocals. Reminds me of the score to the slo-mo scenes in Dredd. There's a link to their Bandcamp page in the notes:

Someone was asking about Klaus Schulze - currently listening to The Cello (disc 49 of 50-disc The Ultimate Edition). As you'd expect, it's low-key beats & electronics overlaid with cello solo work. Excellent good:

Das war ich! Nice one, will check that out morgen.

I made a thing a while back. fits into no genre I know of, but it was an examination of that particular mushroom season. I didn't bother sharing it anywhere at the time but I did throw it on Bandcamp.

Here anyway: https://aninfiniteend.bandcamp.com/album/four-walls

Sharing inspired by the lad with the synthwave track and it being shared into the synthwave thread

That was cool! I enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe of it. Must get a whammy pedal myself, there's so much potential with it. I like how it sounds electronic but is still also obviously a guitar, which is something I'm hoping to achieve in future releases too.

Sound for trying it out! Obviously it's very niche stuff and was done with a very particular idea in mind so won't be any use to a lot of people. The whole idea of it was to try recreate the general sideways feeling of hallucinogenics rather than any real effort to make songs or tunes out of it. There is some guitar on there, but a lot less than it seems like. 90% of it is warped samples and almost every sound is manipulated with delay being the only effect used. I tried to make the "tunes" (if they could be called that) sound like they don't really change at all but by the end they would be pretty different to the beginning. If I end up doing any more I'll lash them in here to this thread but the main purpose is to scratch an itch more than getting anyone to listen to it or promoting it in any way whatsoever.

In that spirit, a fella threw on a Plastikman album "Consumed" this evening for me and it was class. Very understated but really good stuff all the way through. First time I've ever heard Plastikman but I will certainly try a bit more after that.

DomJord, dark ambient project (and very good) from Daniel Rostén, he of Marduk, Funeral Mist & Triumphator fame.
