Love all the early material, think 'Betty' may be the best thing they ever did. Page is a fantastic guitarist but I feel that John Stanier was the bands real secret weapon.

Have caught Helmet twice in recent years (one of my fave bands) - they still are tight as fuck

The newer tracks all sound great live too

I caught the show in London. It was a pretty good night, a few tracks I didn't know myself but they played about 80% of the Betty album, good stuff aired from Aftertaste like Crisis King and Birth Defect. Their most known songs were pretty much dunked anywhere throughout the set perhaps would have been best served in the encore as they were already played and seemed majority had enough Helmet by then some had even left. Was in no rush meself and got to talk to Paige for a bit afterwards gave time to all the 30 or 40 who stuck around in fairness.

Yeah merch was shocking they had shirts with the Betty album cover some couple were checking it out for dates on back, there was from 2014 ffs and it was £20.
