Jets now 0 - 12. Last night was a lesson in how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It's pretty plain to see that the Raiders had nothing to go on in that last 5 minutes. They just kept knocking at the door with the same hopeful launch passing. And then they left Ruggs completely open with nothing left on the clock.

If there were crowds allowed into stadiums there'd be a bloodletting at the MetLife by now.

Bears should have beat the Lions.

It's ridiculous, everybody's going "Oh, the Jets deliberately threw that game." Do these people not think, that if we were throwing it, we wouldn't have stopped them on fourth down a minute earlier? Gregg Williams has history of pulling that shit. Almost every defensive coordinator will rush 3-4 guys, and have everybody back. Not Williams, he decides to win the game with a sack, rushes 8 guys, and it cost us.
And it's cost him, he got fired today - he's got a habit of getting fired too.

It wouldn't have been bloodletting, it would have been a party. A large of amount of the Jets fans present would have been booing, (quite a few would have relieved as the Trevor Tank keeps going), but the vast majority of the crowd would be wearing silver and black and cheering, with their $20 tickets, because the majority of Jets fans would have sold them on Stubhub for a pittance weeks ago.

I'm hoping the Bears play like that against Jacksonville.

Wow, how bad were the Rams?

Saw somewhere where the list of people who were happiest about the Jets win was:

1. Jags fans
2. Bookmakers
3. Seahawks fans
4. Cards fans
.
.
.
.
85. Rams fans
.
.
203. Jets fans

I can see why, a huge amount of the fanbase were convinced that we'd go 0-16, get the first pick, and draft Trevor Lawrence, who'd lead us to a decade of dominance, and how that win means another ten years of mediocrity. But given this organisation's record of screwing up QBs? We draft Trevor, he'd probably be done within five years.

But it's interesting to see how all of a sudden nobody in the US sports media are going on anymore about how Trevor needs to stay in school, how teams that tank shouldn't be allowed the #1 pick, all this shit, now it's no longer the Jets with that pick. There was none of this when Cleveland or Detroit stunk out the league for years on end.

Still, two games til Gase is gone.
Hopefully.
At least the playoffs will be without the stench of Belicheat this time, though the refs will do their best to make sure Brady makes them.

Rams trade Goff plus two first round picks and a third round pick to the Lions for Stafford.
I wonder how much the Texans will want for Deshaun Watson now.

Draft Day, so watch the Jags piss around for the full time allotted before they pick Lawrence.
Naturally enough, failed QB and failed baseball player Tim Tebow decides to try and overshadow it by letting it be known he's having tryouts with the Jags... as a TE.
Not to be outdone, Aaron Rodgers proceeds to drop a nuke by saying he wants out of Green Bay. Now.
Going to be an interesting night.

Brady fucking off, the Dolphins being accused of paying their coach to throw games?
Best non-gameday stuff in the NFL in a long time.
